Fête de la Francophonie 2024 - Focus DRC
This year’s Fête de la Francophonie honoured the Democratic Republic of Congo with a rich cultural day for over 300 students and Francophone enthusiasts.
Photo exhibition, board games, introduction to Lingala, virtual tours… so many activities to introduce them to the beauty of this country.
This was followed by a superb evening full of music, with a concert by the talented Syssi Mananga , along with Patrick Part-raw , and a live performance by the group Elengi Musica, who set the stage alight!

Sinema Mtaani
Alliance Française is delighted to have launched Sinema Mtaani with the support of French Embassy of Kenya and Communications Authority of Kenya.
Sinema Mtaani is a program of free, open-air, travelling film screenings for the general public. The screenings are taking place twice a month and are held in Mombasa’s 6 sub-counties.
We are glad to join hands with Mombasa County Government, Coast Filmmakers’ Association, and Swahilipot Hub to promote the local film industry by offering screening opportunities for young local filmmakers and be part of the national and county initiatives, such as the Mombasa International Film Festival that took place by the end of last year.
