“Give It a Title” is an intimate and raw solo dance performance in which Yves Zagabe directly confronts the deeply rooted taboos surrounding depression and psychological suffering across Africa. Through expressive physical movement, his body transforms into a space of intense personal struggle as he works through moments of deep sorrow, painful childhood memories, and the gradual return of hope. By courageously transforming vulnerability into raw creative strength, Zagabe uses dance as a form of therapy to break the silence surrounding mental health and discover what it truly takes to heal and learn to live again.
