Reinforce your communication skills and understanding of everyday French to be able to interact with ease on familiar topics with native speakers. At this level, you will learn how to handle most situations while traveling in a French-speaking country and express ideas, aspirations, and opinions, all using more nuanced vocabulary.
At the end of French – Intermediate B1, you will be able to
– understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
– deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken
– produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest
– describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans
Upon completion of French – Intermediate B1, you can join a few university programs in France and apply for the “English Language Teaching Assistant programme” (Embassy of France in Kenya).
French – Beginner B1 consists in 2 modules B1.1 and B1.2.
